Defense in Depth Solutions Inc is seeking Sr. Systems Engineer for Leesburg, VA office to analyze, design, build and maintain end to end infrastructure/systems solutions and post implementation support for JAVA, JEE and .NET applications both on premise and in the cloud. Provide system administration for the client/server environments (Windows and Linux servers). Migrate applications from on premise to cloud (AWS and Azure).Assist in Web logic/Tomcat patch upgrades. May travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the US. Must have Masters in Engg, Comp Sci, Info System or related & 3 yrs of exp Or bachelors in above-mentioned & 5 yrs of exp.

Our compensation package consists of the following basic components:

Defense In Depth Solutions is proud to offer its employees a benefits package comparable to those found in leading Fortune 500 companies.  We have searched and found insurance providers for health, dental, vision care, life, and LTD that will meet the needs of all employees irrespective of their state of residence.  ADP is assisting Defense In Depth Solutions in the implementation and administration of the benefits package. For all employee related issues, ADP offers a toll-free number; 1-800-554-1802 and website www.mytotalsource.com to assist employees.  The following is a list of benefits offered to full-time W2 employees. 

  • Medical

    • Available for employee and family members

    • There is an out of pocket expense for the employee that varies with coverage and number of dependents

    • Defense In Depth Solutions pays 80% of the premium cost with employees contributing the balance. The plan also provides for a low deductible. The employee is responsible for the premium of the family members.

  • Dental

    • Available for employee and family members

    • There is an out of pocket expense for the employee that varies with coverage and number of dependents

    • Defense In Depth Solutions pays 80% of the premium cost with employees contributing the balance. The plan also provides for a low deductible. The employee is responsible for the premium of the family members

  • Vision Care

    • Available for employee and family members

    • Vision care by VSP is offered to the employee at no charge

    • There is an out of pocket expense for employee’s dependents

    • Defense In Depth Solutions pays 100% of the premium cost with employees contributing the balance. The plan also provides for a low deductible. The employee is responsible for the premium of the family members

  • Life and Disability

    • Life insurance is offered to all eligible employees

    • $50,000 

    • Long Term Disability is only offered to those employees that have elected to take the offered medical insurance.

    • Defense In Depth Solutions pays 100% of the premium cost with employees contributing the balance. The plan also provides for a low deductible. The employee is responsible for the premium of the family members

 

Additional insurance coverage is offered by Defense In Depth Solutions and ADP which is managed by Mercer.  Additional coverage includes; additional life insurance, short term disability. 

Superior compensation, however, is more than pay and benefit plans. Defense In Depth Solutions also provides additional compensation in terms of leave and retirement options to include:

1) Ten Days PTO (Paid time off) in one year from January to December, accrued weekly.

2) Ten (10) designated holidays based on the US Federal Holiday Schedule. When needs dictate, the employee will follow federal holidays adopted by the client.

3) A Safe Harbour 401(k) Plan administered by the ADP for all those employees with greater than three (3) months of service.

4) Employee can contribute up to $18,500 annually (those over 50 years of age may contribute an additional $6,500).

5) Defense In Depth Solutions will match the first 4% of gross wages contributed to the plan.

1) The Superior Performance Award. Recognizes those who routinely exceed customer expectations throughout the year. This award is awarded and paid at the end of each contract year.  The evaluation process includes a variety of customer input as well as feedback from the candidate's direct supervisor through the performance assessment process. Awardees are determined by the Defense In Depth Solutions Project Manager as well as Madina Shaik, President of Defense In Depth Solutions.  The amount of the Superior Performance Award bonus may equal up to five percent (5%) of an employee's base pay.  

2) Net New Business Bonus Plan. Recognizes those employees who play a significant role in adding additional resources to a program. Determined by the Defense In Depth Solutions Project Manager, a reward of $500 will be paid for each annual full-time equivalent person added to a program. A primary criterion for the award is whether the addition would have occurred without the employee's involvement.

Our compensation package consists of the following components:

Base Pay

We offer competitive base pay salaries based upon skills and qualifications, specialized technical skills and certifications, geographic location, and high travel requirements, a.k.a. “Road Warrior”

Bonus Pay

We provide an annual bonus for all our employees based upon company and individual performance. The Bonus Pool is formed at the corporate level based on attainment of Company goals and profitability and then disbursed to individuals based upon their individual performance and contribution to the Company’s success and the success of their customer.
