SI. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Project Manager, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Project Manager 2 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the DFPS. DFPS may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. DFPS will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). The worker is required to assist the DFPS Finance Department as a project manager and functional lead in the HHSAS Financials Systems upgraded to CAPPS 9.2. The project is currently underway with an implementation date of 09/01/2017. The worker will be responsible for assisting DFPS with planning, scheduling, functional requirements, design, and testing of conversions, interfaces, and workflow to ensure successful conversion. The functions that this worker will oversee as project manager are critical to DFPS financial operations and ensuring providers are paid timely. This worker will also perform some of the project tasks. • Candidates must be available for face-to-face interviews.
